Apon entering this shop it is in need of a bit of a refurb , and the service was pretty slow , but the important thing was that the food from here was very good , very fresh and tasty . So in saying that I would recommend getting food from here . Just be prepared to wait a little for you order .

Had the freshest fish burger and chips. Fish was beautiful white flesh and not at all oily. Best fish burger I’ve had in a long time.

Pretty good effin c's. The pre-sauced H dog didn't go down a treat with my friend (pictured). We did wait for one hour to receive them but they must've been particularly under the pump as it's Xmas time. If you know about the wait it'd be fine, we thought it was going to be about half an hour but no worries. Would eat again.

Good interim stop between Waitomo and Wellington via Tongariro National Park. Mostly takeaways but some seats for eating in. Friendly service. Known for fish and chips but they offer a wide variety, from pizza to fried chicken (both kfc and rotisserie styles) to seafood options. We got a 1/4 piece of rotisserie chicken, and fried fish from the fresh picks. Tasted pretty good though we've had better. Chips were just a tad too dry for our tastes.

Have stopped here several times when passing through Taumarunui and will stop again! The kai is great! Friendly staff and their fish, chips (fries) & fritters are superb. Sometimes there is a selection of fresh seafood add well.

Tucked away off the main road, this qute takeaways is THE BOMB !! From fried chicken to fresh seafood and more. Kids snack packs are very filling, and the "Fish burger combo", steak and egg burger are Definitely a great place to stop for a feed and highly recommended. Suggestion to owners a couple of tables and chairs outside for thoes who are travelling through the town would be even more enjoyable to eat your delicious food. Sorry no pxts of burger, it was inhaled
